30 ABSTRACT FLORALS
This selection of work comes from a set of 30 paintings created during the month of January 2020 for the annual Var Gallery juried exhibition, 30x30x30. An intensive exploration and study—30 artists complete 30 works of art in 30 days. All works are contained to 6”x 6” size.
A study of abstract florals. A metaphysical and visual exploration of rigidity/fluidity, static/motion. This series represents the inbetween place where these themes intersect and take shape as flowers and plant life. With saturated colors and loose gestures, each miniature arrangement attempts to capture a fresh new energy.
